The SoClean heated hose adapter is used with the DreamStation heated hose to make sure that it continues to function properly while the user's CPAP system is connected to the SoClean CPAP Sanitizer. The SoClean hose adapter works with all of the SoClean models, including the SoClean 2. The SoClean Hose Adapter is only necessary when using the Heated Hose on the DreamStation Machines, it is NOT necessary for the Standard Hose.
